Shurflo & Everflo 12v Diaphragm Pumps

For most spray applications we recommend these three pumps:

A demand pump has an inbuilt pressure switch which swtiches off the pump when that pressure is exceeded. This would typically happen if the nozzle(s) restricts the flow and causes a back pressure. The advantage is that the pump will only operate when the discharge tigger valve is open. If used incorrectly the pump will "pulse" and eventually burn out the pressure switch. For accurate control, a relief valve can be fitted inline to divert excess flow back to tank allowing a constant pressure to be set regardless of the nozzle(s) used.

A bypass pump also has a pressure limiter but flow is recirculated within the pump head thus giving a constant operation but no pressure control. Advice? Please call 07506 743487 or e mail sales@spraytips.co.uk
